No boil Boiled Icing

Place in mixing bowl:
2 egg whites
pinch of salt
1 1/2 cups white sugar
1/2 tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp vanilla
Pour in
1/2cup boiling water

Beat on high speed until thick and high peaks.
