Base:
1 1/4cups flour
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter + 2 tsp
Crumble together & press into an & bake at 350 for 20 minutes .
Middle Layer:
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 Tbsp corn syrup
1/2 cup condensed milk
Place in heavy pot & bring to boil for 5 minutes stirring constantly. Removed from heat. Beat until shows signs of thickening and pour over shortbread base.
Top:
Melt chocolate chips. smooth over caramel. May use a bit od whipping cream to make a softer chocolate
