2 cups scalded milk
1 cup raisins
1/4 cup shortening
1/2 cup sugar
2 tsp salt
-cool and mix up yeast culture: 1/4 cup water, 1 tsp sugar, 1 pkg yeast
-let work 10 minutes
-then add
2 eggs
1 heaping tsp cinnamon
Add 5-6 cups flour
until kneaded 10-15 minutes and ball forms n stickiness is gone. cover let rise until double in bulk. Form into rolls pan on grased sheet. bake 25-30 minutes at 395 oven. brush with butter and ice a cross with icing and milk.
