"He was the best you could ever find, a real gentleman, quiet. He wouldn't say anything unless he had to. When he said something, it meant something" -Chief Ross Doyle.

Oh my Papa, I miss you. It's so hard to believe so much time has passed. There are times when it feels like only yesterday, but the ache in my heart knows its been longer. How I wish we could sit and talk of all what's going on today, but I guess that will have to wait.

Not until your death did I realize how much of an impact you had on the community. Whether as a peace office/detective, fire chief.... the list goes on...you were my Papa. To see your importance to others made me more proud to be your daughter.

Never did I feel you thought yourself higher than others because of what you did or who you were. In your life you showed that one is not above making mistakes, but making and learning from them.

Your quiet demeanor in approaching things...taking everything in before accessing a situation will forever be an example to me in my life:.

I can only hope that there's a little bit of you in me.

Love you Papa xox
