Clarence Maxwell Janes
December 12, 1931 - October 31, 1994

  Constable Clarence Janes, yes Uncle Clarence was a retired RNC officer. It seems that a few of the Janes' boys went into the profession; and Clarence was one. He was a  fine officer serving in the greater St John's area, and in his retirement, moved back to Carbonear , building his home, there with his wife Evelyn.

I never got the chance to get to know Clarence as some of his other brothers, but one thing I am sure of is the love he had for my

Dad....as all his brothers. That closeness was always seen when they reunited.
I can remember one time when I was a little girl, staying in St John's and Clarence took us to the races. Little did I realize his love of racing and he was one them lil fellers sitting behind the horse LOL kids eh lol.  Clarence loved kids....his three girls were the apple of his eye, as well as many nephews n niece that lived down the lane.
